The Week of October 3rd

This will be a wonderful first week of October. We will continue counting combinations of nickels and pennies. If you get a chance practice at home by playing store. Have you child exchange nickels for five pennies. In the car count by fives. You can even practice math facts.

We went to the library on Friday. Please return the book this coming Friday so that your child can take out another one. On weeks when we don't have school on Fridays we will keep the books for two weeks.

The class is excited to have our therapy dogs visit us. This will be on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Edkins have 4 wonderful dogs. They usually bring 2 each time they visit. They will visit us approximately every two weeks.

This week is "Respect Week" We will learn about respecting others and respecting our school. We will also learn how important trees are.
