The Week of Oct. 1st

What a wonderful week we had last week! Students enjoyed apple tasting on Friday in honor of Johnny Appleseed. We graphed our favorite kind and green won. This week is the week of Respect. Students will hear stories and discuss what it means to respect each other. On Monday we are wearing blue shirts. On Tuesday it is Blue and God day for school spirit. We will review short o sounds and the word families ot and op. In math we will continue with telling time and begin counting coins with nickel and penny combinations. We are finishing up our study of bears and will move on to trees and fall.
