It was so nice to meet most of you last week at Back to School Night. I look forward to working with you and your wonderful children for the rest of the year. This week we will continue our study of bears which we started last week. We are learning characteristics of bears, different kinds of bears and where they are found in the world. We are comparing different fictional stories about bears and doing an author study of the bear stories of Frank Asche.
In math we will continue working toward fluency of addition facts and will learn time to the hour.
