This week we will be working on writing a piece for the PTA Reflections program. The topic is Believe, Dream and Inspire.
We are nearing the end of Unit 3 in our math books and students will be taking a test either Tuesday or Wednesday. Items covered will include frames and arrows, adding coins using pennies, nickels and dimes, time to the half hours and different combinations to get 10. We also will be having a subtraction test to 7.
We are now up to 60 words on our word wall! Continue to review these words to increase fluency.
The new word wall words for the next two weeks are: does, into, he, this, water, by, eat, sing, stop and then.
Spelling words for this week are: job, jobs, dog, dogs, log, logs, this, into, rock and frog. Bonus words are: Pilgrim, Thanksgiving and Mayflower. (I am so pleased that so many students are challenging themselves by learning the bonus words!
